THE FUTURE OF THE DUTCH TRAFFIC INFORMATION CENTRE - ORGANISATIONAL SCENARIOS EXPLORED.
The potential of traffic information centres to become more sustainable and respond to traffic policy is discussed in relation to the Dutch traffic information centre. This involves the introduction of a traffic data sharing structure (TDSS). A strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats analysis for the Dutch traffic information centre is presented in comparison with the ROMANSE control centre. The establishment of a public private partnership for TDSS is recommended. For the covering abstract see ITRD E114174.
