SNOW REMOVAL STRATEGIES BY THE CITY OF SAPPORO TO SECURE WINTER ROAD SPACE
Snow removal is of great interest and a top request to the citizens of Sapporo, Japan because annual snowfall in the city measures about 5m. Requests for greater mobility in the winter have increased. This paper presents the strategies implemented by the City of Sapporo to address these requests.
