FSUTMS/TRANPLAN BASIC WORKSHOP - VERSION 1.0

A multimedia computer-based training (CBT) for the Florida Standard Urban Transportation Model Structure (FSUTMS)/TRANPLAN Basic Workshop was developed. The CBT includes the following 12 sessions: (1) Introduction; (2) Modeling Process; (3) FSUTMS; (4) VIPER; (5) External Models; (6) Trip Generation; (7) Highway Network; (8) Highway Path; (9) Trip Distribution; (10) Mode Split; (11) Trip Assignment; and (12) Evaluation. The CBT was developed entirely on Macromedia Flash, complete with detailed text descriptions of FSUTMS modeling procedures and steps; hyperlinks for websites, emails, and definitions; video clips for demonstration of program steps; voice narration for text description; and quizzes and exercises with instant answer checking. The CBT is available for download after user registration. It is also available on CD.
