THE INTEGRATED LAND USE, TRANSPORTATION ENVIRONMENT (ILUTE) MICROSIMULATION MODELLING SYSTEM: DESCRIPTION & CURRENT STATUS. IN: TRAVEL BEHAVIOUR RESEARCH. THE LEADING EDGE

The architecture and current status of Integrated Land Use, Transportation, Environment (ILUTE) modelling system is discussed. The system is currently under development by a consortium of researchers in Canada. ILUTE represents an extended experiment in the development of a fully microsimulation modelling framework for the comprehensive, integrated modelling of urban transportation - land use interactions, and, the environmental impacts of these interactions.
