CONITIVE ASPECTS OF AUTOMATION. IN: COGNITIVE ENGINEERING IN THE AVIATION DOMAIN
Presented is the cognitive engineering approach using the example of the en route air traffic organizer, a project that is aimed at specifying and designing decision aids for en route air traffic controllers, and results in a controller's electronic assistant. The new philosophy of human-machine cooperation central to its design is described.
