APPLICATION OF THE STRENGTH DESIGN METHOD FOR FLEXURAL MEMBERS AT PRESTRESS TRANSFER
The paper first illustrates the application of recommendations presented in an earlier paper that working stress design of prestressed members at time of transfer of prestress to concrete be replaced with strength design. Demonstrated in this paper is the implementation of a standard spreadsheet program. Also provided are applications to standard products such as I-beams, inverted tee beams, and double tee products.
