PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF TWO CONCEPTUAL DESIGNS FOR RAIL SERVICE TO TRANSBAY TERMINAL

The objectives of this paper are to examine the performance of two different conceptual designs for stations approaches, bi-directional and unidirectional. The paper researches the flaws of each system to determine if desirable operational goals could be met. The research used stochastic approach instead of static approach in order to improve the results.
