SAFETY - A CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR IN TRUCKING
Safety has been an important aspect of the trucking business for as long as companies have been operating, however company owners and managers are realizing that safety initiatives can result in lower costs, more loyal staff and customers, and positive public perception. This paper outlines some features that have been judged to be exemplary safety practices. The paper will also demonstrate how these initiatives can result in lower costs, positive public perception, and increased profit.
