OSEKTIME : A DEPENDABLE REAL-TIME FAULT-TOLERANT OPERATING SYSTEM AND COMMUNICATION LAYER AS ENABLING TECHNOLOGY FOR BY-WIRE APPLICATIONS
This paper describes an operating system and communication layer services for automotive drive-by-wire systems. The operating system features a time-triggered approach for task scheduling. The communication system is a fault-tolerant communication layer that performs message handling. The paper describes the concepts of these two systems and the electronic architecture.
