STUDY OF UTILIZATION MEASURES OF PROBE CARS FOR ROAD ADMINISTRATION (TENTATIVE)
In this study, we aim to present probe cars that have been introduced in Japan and recommend utilization measures of probe car data for road administration, reviewing the efforts promoted in Japan. It has been proved that probe car data is highly applicable to the fields such as post evaluation and performance measurement of road projects, congestion measurement, evaluation of road traffic safety, measurement of impact on the environment and advanced traffic survey.
