SMARTSHIP : INTEGRATED SHIP MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS A CCMC-CITI JOINT PROJECT

This paper describes the development of SmartShip, an Integrated Ship Management System (ISMS). The areas of technology development and applications of SmartShip include electronic charts, weather maps electronic data interchange (EDI), precision navigation systems and other vessel communications and management tools.
