RESEARCH ON THE PERFORMANCE OF ASPHALT AND ITS MIXTURES ADDED PA-1 ANTI-STRIPPING AGENT

PA-1 anti-stripping agent is a kind of asphalt improvement agent which improves adhesion between acidic aggregate and asphalt. This paper introduces a PA-1 anti-stripping agent and its working mechanism in the improvement of the performance of acidic aggregate asphalt mixtures. The mechanism of asphalt stripping and the properties of asphalt mixtures with added PA-1 anti-stripping agent are analyzed. It is shown that PA-1 anti-stripping agent can improve the adhesion between asphalt and acidic aggregates, and improve other properties as well.
