FROST CHARACTERISTICS OF TEST CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS. NORTHERN TEST ROADS

KOERAKENNEKOHTEIDEN MATERIAALIEN ROUTAKESTAVYYS

The objective of this study was to investigate frost durability properties of materials that were used in frost durability test structures built in 1995. The emphasis was on the determination of frost durability properties of subsoil materials under conditions caused by seasonal frost and its thawing. The study also produced parametres and data for frost dimensioning and analyses of structures.
