SUCCESSFUL STRUCTURAL REHABILITATION OF PARKING STRUCTURES AND THE RESULTING INFLUENCE ON NEW GARAGE DESIGN
This article provides answers to questions such as: what are some of the symptoms that indicate a parking structure is in distress?; whom do you call for help?; and, what is the process to go through to fix the identified problems? The article also discusses common issues related to the structural rehabilitation of parking structures. The influence of past experiences with structural rehabilitation on new parking garage design is also discussed.
