BEHAVIOR OF INTERIOR BEAM-AND-COLUMN SUBASSEMBLAGES IN A REINFORCED CONCRETE (RC) FRAME
Cyclic loading tests were carried out on fourteen half-scale interior beam-and-column subassemblages using high-strength materials to investigate their seismic behavior and to estimate their restoring force characteristics. Based on the test data of this study and the authors' previous work using normal-strength materials, the ductility performance and the restoring force characteristics were formulated. Under various conditions, the proposed method predicted well the ductility performances and the hysteresis behaviors measured in the tests conducted on subassemblages.
