THE FUTURE OF WIRELESS APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT FOR A CONNECTED VEHICLE

This paper discusses the various wireless applications that are available in the in-vehicle environment due to the emergence of open platforms and standard communication protocols. It describes efforts involved in the development of technologies and applications by the InfoGation Corp., such as traffic alert, wireless push, Mayday system and off-board navigation for the Auto PC platform.
