ALTERNATIVE FUELS GUIDEBOOK: PROPERTIES, STORAGE, DISPENSING, AND VEHICLE FACILITY MODIFICATIONS
The author discusses alternative fuels for motor vehicles. He includes the alcohols (methanol and ethanol), natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, vegetable oils, and hydrogen. For each alternative fuel, he describes their production, vehicle emissions characteristics, and vehicle performance characteristics or impacts. The book is divided into five chapters. The Table of Contents lists the following chapter headings: Chapter 1 - Alternative Fuels and their Origins; Chapter 2 - Properties and Specifications; Chapter 3 - Materials Compatibility; Chapter 4 - Storage and Dispensing; and Chapter 5 - Refueling Facility Installation and Garage Facility Modifications.
