REHABILITATION OF RUNWAY 18R-36L AND TAXIWAY D AT THE CINCINNATI/NORTHERN KENTUCKY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
This paper provides details of the pavement evaluation and operations analysis to design and sequence rehabilitation of Runway 18R-36L and Taxiway D at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. The runway was divided into five sections for rehabilitation and different rehabilitation designs were evaluated for each section. SIMMOD was used to model and evaluate the delay costs with the rehabilitation options. Using SIMMOD analyses it was possible to develop phasing sequences to rehabilitate the runway taxiway system while maintaining operations at near normal levels.
