CAPITAL VERSUS OPERATING GRANTS FOR TRANSIT: ECONOMIC IMPACTS FOR CALIFORNIA
This study was conducted to examine issues relating to federal transit grants and their economic impact in California. The project was undertaken to examine actual rates experienced in California and to compare them to the national rates reported to Congress and the Administration. The study also looked at employment multiplier effects and discusses the current state of the national discussions on options for the sustenance of transit investments.
