A ROAD INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR MOTORISTS IN THE KINKI REGION DELIVERED TO THE MINISTRY OF CONSTRUCTION

This article describes a road information system in Japan which uses four- screen multivision terminals that supply roadway and tourism information to visitors. The user interface employs animated characters that provide easily understood, friendly and interactive access to the system information resources. IN JAPANESE
