THE SMART CORRIDOR CENTRAL SYSTEM

A key element in the Smart Corridor Demonstration Project is the central system responsible for collecting and analysing traffic data from a number of sources and supporting the coordinated response of the agencies operating in the corridor. This paper presents the design and describes the functionality of the central and its interfaces and relationships with the operating agencies.
