SMARTCARDS, THE ULTIMATE SOLUTION TO REVENUE ALLOCATION PROBLEMS?

This paper describes the experiences in Milton Keynes of introducing a passenger Smartcard system on local buses to provide accountability to the local concessionary and other multi-operator ticketing systems in the area.
