TOOLS FOR AHS MANEUVER DESIGN : ANNUAL REPORT FOR 1994-95
This project focused on the development of a framework for verification of the joint design of the regulation and coordination layers of the Automated Highway System (AHS) hierarchical control architecture studied in the California PATH (Partners for Advanced Transit and Highways) Program. Basic research was conducted to establish the necessary framework. The second part of the effort was the elaboration of this framework in ways that made the verification practicable from a computational viewpoint and to demonstrate this through some examples.
