IMPULSIVE COURSE-KEEPING AUTOPILOT FOR UNSTABLE SHIPS
The paper presents a method of optimal oscillating systems synthesis. The method provides minimisation of oscillations frequency with limited control expenses for unstable systems of the 3rd order. A function is proposed giving optimal oscillating control laws. Analysis of the control law structure is carried out. Some approximations for oscillation period and pulse period-to-pulse duration of control signals is derived. The paper is illustrated with a numerical example.
