MOTORCYCLE ROADCRAFT. THE POLICE RIDER'S HANDBOOK
The handbook has been developed under the guidance of a group of police motorcycle trainers, with input from police riders, trainees and civilian experts. It gives full and authoritative information on safe and effective methods of riding a motorcycle. It is designed for use with practical instruction, but can also be used for self-study or as a reference document. This edition has been completely rewritten to reflect recent changes in advice and regulations. The first three chapters set out the basic principles and information upon which the later chapters build. The importance of correct positioning and hazard awareness is explained using full colour illustrations. A chapter on motorway riding is included. Notes, reviews and questions are provided on the main learning points of each chapter. Special techniques, such as those used in an emergency or pursuit are not covered.
