THE EMPLOYER TRIP REDUCTION PROGRAM OF HOUSTON, TEXAS
The purpose of this paper is to summarize Houston's version of the Employer Trip Reduction (ETR) program, describe the roles of the local governmental agencies responsible for monitoring and implementing the program, address actions taken by some employers, and suggest alternative commute options that may prove to be successful in achieving compliance with the ETR program.
