VIBRATION ANALYSIS OF PASSENGER-CAR FERRY AMORELLA
An approach to the vibration problem of a passenger-car ferry characterised by rather strong vibration criteria and complex structure is described. Global and local vibration analysis are performed by the finite element method. Correlation analysis of the calculated and measured results is satisfactory. Minimal vibration remedy undertaken after vibration calculation and measurement respectively has reduced vibration response within the permissible level.
