ANALYSIS OF SPECTRUM FATIGUE TESTS IN SEA WATER

Analytical basis for analysing spectrum fatigue tests in sea water is outlined. A flexible equation for describing the crack growth rate as a function of stress intensity factor range is derived based on the corrosion fatigue mechanisms. A solution for equivalent loading utilising the proposed equation is developed.
