LONDON TRANSPORT BUSES: ATT IN ACTION AND THE LONDON COUNTDOWN ROUTE 18 PROJECT
This paper considers the application of ATT to bus operations in London. In particular the Countdown dynamic real-time passenger information at bus stops project is described, and the results of the monitoring study to evaluate system performance and passenger reaction are reviewed. Passenger opinion of the service and their stress related behaviour at bus stops was surveyed during the trial. For the covering abstract see IRRD 868006.
