SEAKEEPING QUALITY OF SEMI-SUBMERSIBLE DRILLING RIG BINGO 4000 M

To cope with particularly adverse weather conditions, NKK has developed a semi-submersible drilling rig BINGO 4000 M. This is a high performance rig with 2 lower hulls, 6 columns, and a box girder-type deck. Excellent seakeeping and wind resistance qualities were demonstrated in model basin- and wind tunnel-tests.
