MAINTENANCE ORGANISATION AND PLANNING FOR ELF AQUITAINE NORGE'S OFFSHORE PLATFORMS ON THE FRIGG FIELD

This paper describes how the maintenance organisation has been developed on the Frigg Field. Following an introductory description of the Frigg Field and its facilities, the objectives which were set up for organising the maintenance function and the main actions which were undertaken are reviewed, i.e. <1> The setting up of the Maintenance Department structure onshore and offshore; <2> The preparation, the launching and the optimisation of a preventive maintenance programme; <3> The setting up of a computerised maintenance cost control system; <4> The technical training of the maintenance supervisors and foremen.
