INTERSTATE COMMERCE COMMISSION: IMPACTS OF ELIMINATING OR TRANSFERRING MOTOR CARRIER AND OTHER FUNCTIONS. TESTIMONY
This is the statement of Barry T. Hill, Associate Director, Transportation Issues, Resources, Community, and Economic Development Division, General Accounting Office, before the Subcommittee on Surface Transportation, Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, House of Representatives, on the impacts of eliminating the Interstate Commerce Commission (ICC) and transferring its functions to other federal agencies. The testimony focuses on the options for transferring ICC remaining motor carrier activities to the Department of Transportation and other federal agencies.
