DESIGN AND ASSESSMENT OF PROMETHEUS SCENARIOS

The Research and Development Programme PROMETHEUS supports the design, test and evaluation of transport information and control systems as a means to improve traffic safety, to maximize transport efficiency and to contribute to environmental improvements in Europe. An important part of basic resarch in PROMETHEUS is the design and the assessment of various alternative scenarios as a precondition of any successful technical development.
