EDIFACT TESTS BEGIN
The move to gain universal acceptance of EDIFACT as an international electronic data interchange standard has been given added impetus by an announcement that the U.S. Customs Service would begin integrating EDIFACT into its Automated Commercial System. The pilot project, which, tests EDIFACT applications to U.S. imports, is described.
