COMPUTER AIDED GRAIN STABILITY CALCULATIONS FOR SPECIALLY SUITABLE SHIPS
The calculating procedures which are required to prove suitability of vessels for the carriage of grain in bulk from the stability viewpoint are regulated by internationally accepted conventions. On the other hand, such calculations are both tedious and time consuming. Therefore, they represent a good case for computerization.
