FIRE SAFETY ASSESSMENT OF BUS TRANSPORTATION
A study to assess the risks to passengers from two fire events in buses indicates that the risks to passengers are low. This risk assessment is placed in the context of safety management in the bus and coach industry. The reasons for, and benefits of, safety management are discussed using examples.
