REINFORCED CONCRETE DURABILITY AND ASTM
Many bridges, parking decks, pipelines, buildings and other structures in the United States are in need of major repairs due to a premature loss of material durability. This article illustrates how ASTM technical committees on Corrosion of Metals, on Cement, and on Concrete and Concrete Aggregates are working independently and together to solve the problems associated with the durability of reinforced concrete.
