HIGHSPEED TRAIN 250X FOR NARROW-GAUGE LINE
The narrow-gauge highspeed train 250X is an electric multiple unit for highspeed test aiming at attaining a maximum speed of 250 km/h, that is, a future train, for which the research and development is to be proceeded with a new concept in order to realize a memorable train dressed up befitting the advent of the 21st century. Prior to the materialization of the 250X train, large volumes of research and development efforts will be needed. Here first the related R&D achievements are discussed, and later the 250X train is introduced.
