THE INTERCITY BUS: A PARTNER IN RURAL PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
The role of rural public transportation providers is threatened by financial pressures that have already forced many carriers to discontinue rural service. This article presents some steps which could help meet essential intercity service requirements curtailed as a result of these pressures.
