SIMULATED DRIVING IN A MODEL TOWN WITH REGARD TO ROAD ENVIRONMENT

AAKTUR I MODELLSTAD AVSLOEJAR VAAR MILJOE

A model town for driving simulation has been constructed at the University of technology in Lund, Sweden. Over a model of an urban area is installed a movable TV- camera with a relatoscope device, transmitting a picture on a monitor. The speed and direction of the camera are regulated by the operating devices of a simulated car. The driver's reactins are registered on a video tape recorder. /TRRL/
