DESIGN OF TRAFFIC TUNNELS (CIVIL ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL ELEMENTS)

PROJEKTIRANJE PROMETNIH TUNELA (GRADJEVINSKO-TEHNICKI ELEMENTI)

The paper presents an approach to the design of railway and road tunnels and underground railway tunnels in towns. Tunnel alignment, vertical alignment, tunnel front and approach cutting are discussed. Tunnel cross-sections are given in keeping with the existing regulations. The design of the "Ucka" road tunnel is presented. (TRRL)
