PESEES DES REACTIONS D'APPUI. (WEIGHING OF BRIDGE BEARING REACTION
For the surveillance and maintenance of structures, notably prestressed concrete bridges, it is important to know the evolution of bridge bearing reactions over a period of time (t = 0 when the construction has been completed, t = 1 year, t = 5 years, t = 10 years). A continuous recording device allowing free dilation of the deck without the introduction of undesirable stresses in the measuring cells has been developed that improves the performance of the test. A secondary standard called the "three-point balance" has been built for the specific requirements of this test. It constitutes the indispensable reference and ensures the reliability of the system for measurements of very long duration (5 to 10 years). This technique of measurement can find various applications apart from the field of prestressed segmental precast concrete decks.
