CRYOGENIC NITROGEN AUTOMOTIVE ENGINE

The cryogenic liquid is flashed to a gaseous condition where it is superheated with a small amount of any plentiful fuel before the very hot gas is expanded in the propulsion engine. The gas is neither compressed nor condensed aboard the vehicle - only heated and expanded - so the power equipment is small and light. The components, thermodynamics, and performance of the power plant are described.
