LIME STABILISATION OF PAVEMENT MATERIALS. DESIGN AND TESTING OF EXPERIMENTAL PAVEMENTS
STABILIZZAZIONE A CALCE PER MATERIALI DA SOVRASTRUTTURA. DIMENSIONAMENTO E VERIFICA DI SOVRASTRUTTUR SPERIMENTALI
This article reports the results of laboratory tests of gravelly clay materials of high plasticity stabilized with hydrated lime, and presents the design criteria used for certain types of experimental pavements describing the tests carried out thereon. Separate chapters deal with (1) the test materials; (2) lime stabilization of the mixtures; (3) design of the experimental pavement; (4) in situ experimental tests; and (5), in situ determination of deformation modulii.
