STATE OF THE ART OF AN ELECTRONIC TRACK GUIDANCE SYSTEM AT THE END OF THE DEVELOPMENT PHASE II, PART A: SYSTEM DAIMLER-BENZ AG
A prototype of an electronic track guidance system had been developed at the end of phase I of the "Automatically Guided Bus" project. This paper describes the additional developmental work which will lead to a safe and reliable version. From a technical point of view, an electronic track guidance system for buses seems feasible. A trial would have to be undertaken to answer questions of an operational nature.
