NATIONAL TRAFFIC SURVEY IN 1981. LONG DISTANCE GOODS TRANSPORTATION FLOWS

The Finnish Roads and Waterways Administration set up a national traffic survey in 1981 in which roadside interviews were carried out at 78 stations situated mostly on main highways throughout Finland. Almost 53000 of the interviews concerned goods transportation. This report presents the long-distance transportation flows between the 22 districts and their centers as well as the total transportation mileage on the main highway system. The results are divided into 15 commodity classes. (TRRL)
