PHYSICIAN REPORTING--A NATIONAL PERSPECTIVE

This article examines the various questions raised on the topic of the physician's role in the reporting of impaired drivers. It looks at the current legal requirements of the States and examines the objections which are most often raised by physicians. It discusses the role of State medical advisory committees, deals with the question of legal liability, and raises some questions which are yet to be answered.
