FATIGUE IN WELDED ASSEMBLIES IN ROLLING STOCK
FATIGUE DES ASSEMBLAGES SOUDES EN MATERIEL ROULANT
Studies carried out over the last ten years have shown that welded assemblies behave differently under fatigue from conventional mechanical parts. As a result new standards for calculation have been worked out allowing more critical dimensioning of welded assemblies in rolling stock.
