DEVELOPMENT OF TIRE INTERMIX PERFORMANCE AND INSPECTION SYSTEM. VOLUME II: TECHNICAL REPORT
This report comprises Volume II of a three-volume technical report documenting a project to derive and validate a system to identify potentially unsafe tire mixes. This volume provides a technical background, a derivation of a proposed tire mix classification system, and a detailed description of the laboratory tire tests and vehicle field validation tests, together with a presentation of the results from these tests. It also presents conclusions and recommendations based on these test results.
