TRANSPORT OF DANGEROUS MATERIALS
LES TRANSPORTS DE MATIERES DANGEREUSES
This dossier describes the developments in technical regulations with regard to the transport of new materials. The regulations are updated by the Interministerial Committee for Transport of Dangerous Materials, whose role, origin and composition are described. The design of vehicles for transporting dangerous materials is also the subject of regulation. A provisional road routing for the transport of dangerous materials has been tested in Moselle. The special case of the transport of radioactive material is dealt with. The regulations also provide for professional training in the transport of dangerous materials.
